Women in STEM Hackathon Comes To Dubai

The Meera Kaul Foundation, is hosting its annual event Women in STEM in the Middle East and will be held onwomen in stem January 14-15, 2015 at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai.

Striving to highlight high-ranking women in the corporate world, the conference brings together women speakers and delegates who are successful in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). This move aims to increase the interest and confidence of young women pursuing degrees and careers particularly in the fields of STEM. In addition to this, the two-day event will honor leading women in the mentioned sectors from all around the region.

The event will also include a brand new collaborative concept, the Hackathon. This is especially designed for women software programmers and UI and graphic designers to identify and showcase their wide-ranging expertise and in-depth know-how.

The Meera Kaul Foundation has a strong interest in encouraging women to consider entrepreneurship in STEM-based industries.
