Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, Saudi Arabia, launched 2 new e-services: the issuance of Saudi passports online and electronic authorization.
The service should contribute to improving services provided to citizens and enable them to issue the Saudi passport electronically through the ePassports System, “Absher”, besides allowing registered users to electronically authorize others to complete procedures of their employees.
It seems the General Directorate of Passports (GDP) is really pushing hard to achieve the interior minister’s vision, to provide all services online, and to achieve its goal in minimizing visitors to its offices.
