Job Information

Reporting to the Business Lead – Middle East, Asia & Africa, the Digital Marketing Manager will design and develop the Company’s digital marketing roadmap and be responsible for its implementation and measurement.  The Digital Marketing Manager will be a proactive, driven, and organised individual that will manage our digital campaigns and drive traffic and engagement for our web, mobile and email products.

Essential Duties

The successful candidate will lead the marketing strategy (focusing on digital) and implementation alongside day-to-day activities including:

  • Designing ROI-positive digital marketing programs, traffic building, online registrations and analytics
  • Acting as custodian of the Company’s platform, ensuring all aspects of the program work as designed and recommending builds where appropriate
  • Manage the relationship with relevant agencies in the delivery of platform and marketing activities
  • Provide thought leadership in technological advancements and digital development, whether that be in relation to hardware, software, or user behaviour
  • Champion the user experience on the platform; leading teams to make integral changes to increase user acquisition and retention
  • Monitor Google Analytics and site metrics to measure campaign return on investment (ROI) and conversion efforts
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the digital and social media campaigns


Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree qualified in Digital Communications, Marketing or similar
  • Adept in all digital marketing channels (SEO, content marketing, email and social media) and highly fluent in digital analytics
  • Demonstrable experience in uX (user experience) design, translating market research into tangible outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+ Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Strong project management skills working in teams based locally and internationally
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off
  • Able to map out marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics
  • Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills
  • Able to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format
  • Confidence in web design, including HTML and CSS
