Seeking a motivated individual to provide strategic direction for managing the company’s multiple websites and online marketing programs. This position will work with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute online marketing initiatives and strategic direction for Thomson Reuters. The Online Marketing Manager must have a strong practical understanding of internet marketing, a sense of design and content, superior project management and analytical ability with ROI focus. As the online marketing expert for Thomson Reuters this position is responsible for directing and working closely with the revenue management, department heads and the digital media agencies.

Key Responsibilities: · Develop and manage annual digital marketing plans including email campaigns across all BUs.· Maintain and grow email database with opt-in strategy for maximum growth and retention. Determine segmentation strategies for e-marketing campaigns for the various customer segments of Thomson Reuters.· Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting of website analytics, on line advertising, email marketing campaigns, plus other ad hoc reports. · Manage and track email and marketing databases. · Update and analyze Thomson Reuters website content as needed and make appropriate changes. · Assist in the creation of innovative e-marketing campaigns to increase revenue and brand awareness. · Exceptional knowledge of Google Analytics, Ad Words, Search Engine Marketing (PPC), Search Engine Optimization, Web site Analytics, Affiliate Networks, Email and standard industry practices. · Manage successful SEO strategy including website content and graphics, keyword lists, and SEO and page tag copywriting that increase the rank of natural search engine listings. · Establish market positioning for any Customer-facing touch points through cross-channel activities, such as eCommerce, Social, Mobile, and Digital Marketing, for lead generation and use of micro sites.· Media buying and contract negotiation experience.· Manage inbound linking strategy that drives traffic to the site· Research and advertise with highly relevant directories· Submit and update local business and event listings through Google maps and other relevant third party sites· Stay abreast of internet trends and applications, e.g. spam filters, search engine features, video, blogs etc.· Manage external vendors and agencies.· Flexibility and initiative as role and responsibilities evolve and change.

Qualifications

University degree (preferably a Marketing Major) or Equivalent – MBA is a plus.Digital Marketing experience.Social media experience.Strong customer service skills.Strong relationship management skills.
