Expand your career potential with a global consumer powerhouse by joining our Dubai office as Digital Moderator and Artwork Packaging Intern for 6 months within our MedMEA Marketing Function.

The MedMEA business comprises of 55 countries including the Arabian Peninsula, North Africa, the Mediterranean and Central Eastern Europe with our key markets including Greece, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Cyprus, and Turkey. In addition to the cultural diversity found in the MedMEA business, the MedMEA Marketing team is a fun, energised department of around 12 people based in Dubai and Athens.

As a Digital Moderator and Artwork Packaging Intern, you will be responsible for implementing the MedMEA social media plan/programs and adapting/localizing packaging artworks for both Cereal and Snacks.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Immediate:

Implement the social media strategy coordinating with stakeholders across the MedMEA region to ensure its effectiveness.
Update and monitor social media websites, answering questions, responding to comments and driving online interaction.
Provides a single point of contact to MedMEA stakeholders in implementing social communications.
Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs.
Analyse, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
Manage delivery of packaging artwork from design adaptation/translation brief stage to print stage.
Set up kick-off meetings with key stakeholders (Brand CBU, Artwork Planners, Legal, Regulatory Bodies), to ensure local and regional requirements are met with key timelines respected.
Collect feedback and input into briefs for agencies to complete tasks.
Manage timing and approval at each artwork stage to ensure artwork achieves their intended File to Print dates.

Future:

Provide input for social media communications in brand planning process and provide opportunity to engage consumers for future advocacy.
Responsible for reactive/responsive communications partnering with European Digital Team, Corporate Communications and legal as appropriate.
Monitor key online communities and industry competitive social media activities and deliver consumer insights from social media.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

Required:

BA/BSc degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing or related with a strong understanding of FMCG.
Strong communications, project management and organizational skills.
The ability to partner and work with cross-functional teams
Delivering a quality service to internal customers.
Strong project management skills and a drive to execute.
Fluent in Arabic

Preferred:

Experience/exposure in social media/digital marketing, content management and/or online journalism.
