Job Scope

The Assistant Manager, Marketing International is responsible for managing and implementing assigned marketing, communication and events activities to meet agreed objectives and performance targets.

The Assistant Manager, Marketing International reports to the Marketing Manager International

The Assistant Manager, Marketing International will work closely with the Brand Groups, Digital Marketing Manager, Sales, Customer Care and other relevant departments to realize marketing objectives.

The Assistant Manager will liaise with external commercial agencies and vendors in relation to marketing activities.

The Assistant Marketing Manager international will liaise with the Emaar International offices, Joint Ventures and partners to realize marketing objectives.

Principal accountabilities

Marketing Management:

Manages and implements International Marketing activities ensuring that they are aligned with long-term strategic objectives of the brand.
Manages and co-ordinates budgets to ensure compliance with agreed targets.
Develops tactical plans to meet the brand objectives.
Works within agreed standards and guidelines for all brand communications to ensure consistency, level of quality and objectives are achieved.
Coordinates the implementation of international marketing and events’ communications via internal and external channels and parties.
Assists the marketing manager in developing and implementing international roadshows and events.
Assists the marketing manager in managing and monitoring budgets.
Contribute to design and distribution of marketing programs such as web, newsletter, direct mail, advertising, flyers, referral programs and signage
Manage multi-media projects such as photo shoots and video shoots, including editing and implementation of the final product
Branding, Communications, Research, Roadshows & exhibitions

Assists the Marketing Manager to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives through planning and research on various factors such as competition, marketing research.
Assist the Marketing Manager in preparation and execution of exhibitions and roadshows.
Clear cut understanding of organization/company communication goals, and work accordingly to achieve the goals.
Watch on for the latest changes in product trends / marketing trends and implement marketing strategies for the growth of the organization.
Prepare post event/ campaign reports.
Agency Coordination:

Assists Marketing Manager in drafting marketing and communications briefs
Communicates briefs developed to agencies
Communicates with vendors to ensure smooth operations of all marketing activities and events.
Supervises implementation of projects and events and monitors suppliers’ performance

Team Management:

Motivates and develops staff ensuring that performance is measured and training needs recommended.

Qualifications

Required Competencies
Minimum graduate degree in marketing/ business discipline / industry.
Minimum four years background in Marketing/ PR / Communication.
Strong leadership and client-service skills, with proven ability to lead people as well as plan and implement successful marketing strategies.
Highly motivated with strong personal work ethic and ability to have strong customer service attitude with all employees.
Should have budget and project management skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Should possess strong interpersonal skills.
Should possess good English Language skills required.
Preferred Arabic Language communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly and precisely (written & oral).
Ability to utilize available resources effectively.
Willing to travel to outside destinations including Africa, GCC, MENA and other parts of the world as required.
