PRISM: Privacy Breaches By Technology Giants – An Infographic

America's tech giants (Microsoft. Yahoo. Google. Facebook. PalTalk. AOL. Skype. YouTube. Apple.) continued to deny any knowledge of a giant government surveillance programme called Prism, even as president Barack Obama confirmed the scheme's existence Friday

The National Security Agency is currently collecting the telephone records of millions of US customers of Verizon, one of America's largest telecoms providers, under a top secret court order issued in April.

According to leaked documents, PRISM went into effect in 2007, and has only gained momentum since. Its stated purpose is to monitor potentially valuable foreign communications that might pass through US servers.

While we all continue to hear stories here is an infographic that has taken snippets of Terms and Conditions from each of the listed website. These T&C's clearly state that the website has the right to share data with authorities for legal purposes. Are we still getting psyched about PRISM?
