Gangnam Style is still breaking records. The song also topped various music charts when it was first released, topping 
music charts across 30 countries. It was also the most liked video on YouTube and has become a permanent part of pop culture especially at the peak of its success in 2012.
Psy’s 2012 hit “Gangnam Style” has racked up so many views on YouTube (more than 2.15 billion) that the company had to reprogram its view counter.
“We never thought a video would be watched in numbers greater than a 32-bit integer (=2,147,483,647 views), but that was before we met PSY,” Google, which owns YouTube, wrote in a blog post.
“Gangnam Style has been viewed so many times we had to upgrade to a 64-bit integer (9,223,372,036,854,775,808).”
That raises the viewing limit for a video to nine quintillion.
