foodpanda Group Acquires 24h.ae and Talabat.com In Middle East

Global online food delivery company foodpanda today announces that is has fully acquired food deliveryfoodpanda business 24h.ae and Talabat.com in the Middle East, targeting the region as next high growth market in the food delivery sector.

24h.ae is active in the United Arab Emirates. The company provides the most convenient way to order food in seven cities: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaima. 24h.ae was founded in 2011 and will continue with the current management and team, as well as the strong 24h-brand it has developed over the years. It currently cooperates with more than 700 restaurant partners, including major brands like Subway, Wendy’s , Domino’s, Johnny Rockets, and Pizza Express.

Talabat operates in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (“UAE”), Bahrain, Oman and Qatar with particularly strong market positions in Kuwait, UAE and Saudi Arabia. It currently cooperates with more than 1,300 partner restaurants.

foodpanda is already active in Saudi Arabia and Jordan with its hellofood.sa and hellofood.jo brands, respectively.

Online food ordering service websites are growing by the day in the region. Some of these websites feature interactive menus allowing customers to place orders with local restaurants while others allow you to make a table reservation in advance.

    Ur style of writing is kind of intriguing. U focused on the local brand while the highlight of the deal in the release across all channels is about the 170 million deal with Talabat, being the largest regional player including ur market UAE.
