SMEs can set-up a START account in the same day, without being required to provide a deposit. The solutions provides SME’s with simple tools and developer friendly APIs (application programming interface) to set up an online payment process for their customers quickly (normally during the same day). START even provides payment processes for Instagram Sellers, allowing them to process customer orders easily via “URL payment”.

Introducing ‘The FORT’

“The FORT provides a tightly integrated suite of payment solutions, services and applications to allow large organizations to offer customers online payment options across multiple platforms, countries and legal entities,” said Soudodi. “It’s secure, scalable, easy to integrate and comes with a powerful dashboard to help enterprises continue to optimise their payment processes and increase conversions.”

The FORT allows enterprise customers to manage the payment process from payment options and user experience, through to order processing and bank transactions. The gateway’s powerful, easy-to-use dashboard allows merchants to build their own payment stack by choosing options for payment channels, fraud tools, acquiring banks, issuing banks and local payment services, such as e-Dirham, Fawry, NAPS (Direct Debit Qatar) and Sadad. Merchants can also integrate third party services with their payment stack.

The FORT offers merchants a platform to enhance the user experience by optimizing the payment process for desktop, mobile web and mobile app users. Payfort's Token Service allows merchants to securely save user credit card details for the convenience of repeat customers, whilst a variety of payment options and pay-by-installments service make it easy for merchants to increase conversion ratios.

Built on Oracle and Amazon Web Services, The FORT's robust architecture has Advance Encryption Standard (ASE) security and is compliant with PCI data security standards. By using The FORT's Merchant Backend Office dashboard, enterprises can create multiple accounts for different legal entities, test new services before pushing them live, process manual orders and payments, view the complete life cycle of any valid order on the system and create transaction summary reports.

PAYFORT is the payment platform for the leading e-commerce websites across the Arab world — such as Souq.com, (OLX) Dubizzle.com, Landmark, Jumbo Electronics, AirCairo, flynas, Air Arabia, Carrefour, and Tecom.

PAYFORT has longstanding relationships with banks across the region and today, supports credit/debit card payment, through globally recognized payment leaders such as American Express, CashU, MasterCard, and Visa.
